CCS Week 2016 - Achieving Global Competitiveness through Friendship and Camaraderie

As an annual customary event, this year's Gordon College - College of Computer Studies Week was held last October 26th to 28th, 2016. With the formulation of new banner for the CCS theme: S.U.P.E.R. G.C. - Spearheading Universal and Prime Educational Readiness of Gordon College, the event was guided and directed with a very meaningful purpose in extending and enhancing the quality of experience of CCS students and faculty alike through a series of activities that foster friendship, promote goodness, improve knowledge, and develop character.

Y4IT 2016 Implementing and Proliferating IT Applications

14th Y4IT or The Philippine Youth Congress on Information Technology successfully held its annual conference last September 28, 2016 at SMX Convention Center, SM Mall Of Asia. Y4IT originally came from its predecessor, the 2003 National IT Student Congress that was hosted at UP Diliman, Quezon City organized by University of the Philippines Information Technology Training Center (UP ITTC). The congress achieved greater success as it is now considered and recognized as the largest IT conference in the Philippines. Since then Youth Congress on Information Technology was coined to better convey its meaning and purpose, as thousands of young IT professionals, enthusiasts and senior high school and college students from all over the nation poured in and supported the congress for a bid to learn and benefit from the teachings or tech talks of its resource speakers, industry partners, and event committees.
