Students Teams From Gordon College Made It To The Semi-Finals Of The Philippine Startup Challenge 2019

The Top 30 Semi-finalist of the Philippine Startup Challenge 2019

Four teams from Gordon College CCS made it to the Top 30 of the Philippine Startup Challenge 2019. The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) made the announcement last December 22, 2018 on its official PCS5 Facebook Page.

The Top 30 teams were selected from the startup entries submitted by colleges and universities across all regions of the country. Fortunately, startup entries from Gordon College CCS won 4 out of the 15 entries submitted. The four startup entries that will join the semi-finals were:

The Top 30 Semi-finalist of the Philippine Startup Challenge 2019

The Philippine Startup Challenge (PSC) is a startup competition which aims to encourage and inspire college students to create innovative and relevant ICT services that may also be viable business ventures. The PSC is part of the seedPH Program which aims to support and develop the Philippine startup ecosystem and produce local technopreneurs whose products and services are socially relevant and scalable globally.

The PSC5 semi-finalists will be given additional mentoring to enhance their business ideas and the Top 10 will be announced on March 2019. The PSC5 Grand Finals will be held on April 2019 and the top 5 will receive a prototype development funding from DOST worth Php 1 million.
