The College of Computer Studies of Gordon College celebrated this year’s Acquaintance Party with the theme: “Calm, Carefree, Savvy” on October 25, 2018. Set along the beautiful Subic Bay, CCS students and faculty members enjoyed the different activities and the sumptuous meal prepared by the organizers in Gerry’s Grill Restaurant inside Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

The Gordon College CCS Student Council Officers, 4th Year CCS students and faculty members worked together to organize the event headed by Ms. Mayer Sanchez, CCS Instructor. Different activities such as games, dance competition and Mr. and Ms. Star of the Night were held as part of the event.

Groups of CCS students performed intermission numbers to entertain everyone in the event. Some groups perform live band music while others danced hiphop and contemporary music.

Dr. Erlinda C. Abarintos, our College Dean, inducted the new set of officers of the Gordon College CCS Student Council with their adviser, Mr. Arnie Armada. The CCS Week 2019 groupings were also revealed during the event by Ms. Lanie Mirano, the event coordinator for next year’s CCS week.

The party ended with a message from our College Dean saying that this year’s acquaintance party was the most attended to date. She also reminded everyone to stay humble, kind and strive to be a good student of Gordon College.
